The Madison Public Schools Board of Education consists of nine members who are elected by the voters of Madison. Each volunteer member serves a four-year term.
Pamela T. Meier, a Connecticut native and, with her husband, 19-year resident of Madison, is a graduate of Wesleyan University and has been creating and teaching environmental education programs in town for nearly a decade. A former director of the Madison Land Conservation Trust, she has served on the Bauer Park Advisory Committee for five years and is the mother of three children in the Madison Public School System. She has been a preschool teacher, coordinated and taught Winter Workshop Programs for elementary schools in town, initiated a Language and Culture Workshop Series for Jeffrey School, and run her own business as a graphic designer and illustrator for twenty years.
