Cindy Wood has lived in Madison for more than 15 years with her husband and two daughters, and has more than a decade of commitment to the students of Madison. She has served on the PTO Executive Board of a number of schools, as President of the Parents’ Representative Council, and one of the co-founders of TEAM (Taxpayers’ Education Alliance of Madison). She is completing her first term on the Madison Board of Education where she is a member of the Policy and Finance Committees and Vice Chair of the Personnel Committee. Cindy’s commitment is based on her passion and strong belief in public education and children. She wholeheartedly believes that all children deserve the best possible preparation for the future and opportunity for growth and exploration, and that as a community, it is our responsibility to care for the entire child.
Cindy graduated magna cum laude from Seton Hall University and then continued her graduate studies in education at Southern Connecticut State University.
