Winter News

Since the holiday vacation we have used our language arts time for writing memories and reading and practicing plays! We even put on our reader’s theatre plays for three other classes! It was so much fun, that the children can’t wait to try it again in the spring time. As soon as we cleaned up the stage and wrapped up our props, we went back to work in reading groups with a focus on comprehension. In writing we are concentrating on creating an interesting winter tale, complete with the use of our five senses.

Our art projects have kept us knee high in glittery snowflakes as we created the most magical snow globes!

As our math concepts get a bit harder, our math games get a little more complicated! We love learning to count by ten’s and one’s!’
